With the anticipated expansion of the CU Boulder East Campus, accessibility to the Boulder
Creek and Marine Street will need to be modernized in order to facilitate more foot traffic. In
the interest of preserving the surrounding environment, I designed this bridge's structure
with invasive tree branches and glass. Although the primary purpose of the bridge is to get
pedestrians from point A to point B; the bridge also serves as a greenhouse, which
improves both the aesthetics and environmental reach of the bridge.
