In environmental product design studio, we were tasked with creating a pop up shop that was collapsible, flexible in configuration, and able to set up and take apart in two hours. My initial stance on this project was to create an inside out pop up shop because I felt like it would stand out from other pop ups, but would still do its job and be easily maneuvered.
This was the first mock up of our idea of the pop up. Although we liked the aesthetic of the project, it was not something that could be set up in a variety of ways. This is when we shifted gears and began to come up with our next design.
