Stinke bug’s initial exploration started with the sketches above. From that point, I realized that it resembled a stink bug. I then began to draw a stink bug and because I was studying in Denmark, I used the Danish spelling.
I began to conceptualize the form of my design through study models.
I first used chip board and from there, made full-size models with cardboard.
Next, I made plywood models in an effort to
understand the degree of the curve that I needed to make.
